So to reach dayara bugyal from delhi is-
1. Delhi-uttarkashi-barsu
2. Delhi-rishikesh-uttarkashi-barsu
3. Delhi-dehradun-uttarkashi-barsu
You can select any route depending on your convenience. Presently uttarakhand transport is operating one bus at 9:00 pm from delhi to direct uttarkashi and it will drop you by 10:00 am next day. We took the same bus and reached uttarkashi on next day.
After arrival at uttarkashi i felt little tired and we had a cup of tea afterwards we moved towards taxi stand which was berely 500 meters from uttarkashi bus stop. One can directly reach barsu by sharing basis but we decided to stop bhatwari before barsu because we want to spend a day before trekking so we can get prepared for it mentally and physically as well.
We woke up early in the morning and booked a taxi for barsu which is hardly 13 kms from bhatwari. We reached there within a hour and started our trek around 10 am. Trekking is little steep at first and then it gets easier. Remember to collect all the food items and other things in advance because once you start your trek you will get nothing in between sometimes mobile signal was also not available.
We started our trek in early in the morning towards dayara bugyal which was 4 kms from barnala bugyal. It took around 2.5 hours to reach there and the views from there was mesmerizing and breathtaking. We spent 1 hour there and then back to barsu.
Please keep in mind-
1.Trekkers are required to take permission from forest department in advance.
2.Camping is not allowed at dayara bugyal as per high court order but can be done at barnala bugyal.
3. Last bus from uttarkashi to dehradun is 1.00 pm after that 5.00 am next day.
