An event where you can navigate through Bay of Bengal and enjoy the natural landscape of Coromandel Coast for four days in a row is the new best thing that has happened to the travellers of India. Andhra Pradesh Tourism in association with E-Factor organised the country’s very first Yacht Festival in Vizag from 28th March to 31st March of this year. The uniqueness of the event created a rage on social media.

Considered as a must-attend event by many, nine luxurious yachts with cabins were available for rental purposes for the event. Adding to this, an exciting line-up of events was also set up for the guests. From evening galas and performances by well-known artists, to several water activities, everything was arranged. One just had to come and spend the best four days of their lives with their friends and family by the Bay of Bengal. This new initiative taken by the government aimed to put Vizag on the top spot of the Marine Tourism rankings.

A four-day itinerary was chalked out for all the guests who boarded the nine yachts. In the morning, along with sailing and sightseeing, guests could go for kayaking, snorkelling, diving, flyboarding or try fishing aboard. For the night, special performances by bands such as Indian Ocean and Parikrama were organised to brighten up the evening.
