Turkey has be by far my most unforgettable trip among the 9 countries I have travelled. A country with great history, great power, rich in culture and glorious Ottoman Empire has so much to see and explore. My trip only covered the the west of Turkey with most of the UNESCO World Heritage.

The Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Turkish: Sultan Ahmet Camii) is a historic mosque in Istanbul. The mosque is popularly known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior.

Excavations revealed that this piece of land, before Troy, had 9 different cities and 46 levels of habitations almost 3000BCE. Which impressed me a lot because I still couldn't imagine a city being totally buried and gone while another new city being built on it after some years.

Ephesus is considered one of the great outdoor museums of Turkey and is the best preserved classical city of the Eastern Mediterranean which enable one to genuinely soak in the atmosphere of Roman times. Do you know that the Seven Churches of Revelation (mentioned in the Bible) was in Ephesus? (Revelation 2:1-7).

Many thought that I was on a snow mountain when I posted a photo of myself on Instagram. Even though it was freezing cold at that moment, it wasn't due to the "snow" because the mountain is actually covered in carbonate minerals a.k.a salt without any trace of snow. - See more at: http://princesshours91.blogspot.jp/2014/04/turkey-day-4-pamukkale.html#sthash.b0i8zKG5.dpuf
