Purnagiri temple situated in Champawat district , 17 km from Tanakpur at Uttrakhand.
One can visit this place in a day because the trek takes about 3-4 hours and 1-2 to return from temple. You can visit this place either by train or road.
Train - one should take a train with a destination of Tanakpur junction and then take a cab(jeep).

Road - one can cover the distance via any vehicle towards Tanakpur city and then 17 km of hill road towards the starting point of temple.

Then we started the trek and after some hours we reached towards a certain point just some steps far from MATA PURNAGIRI TEMPLE and its DARSHAN.
Normally there was a line before the temple due to heavy crowd and police forces are also there. But the amazing thing is we are having 10-12kg bucket of PRASAD therefore the Police asked us to go via the way which is used to come down from the temple and therefore we are like VIP'S as everyone is in the line we are just going through a vacant path.

Someone in our group told us a way towards the Kali River . Seriously we took his advice and that place and its view of Kali River is awesome.
Then we catch train from Tanakpur junction.
After visiting this place i have got two amazing experience-
1- Whenever i came to visit this place i always have to wait in the line until my turns come up and police don't even give 1 min to sit and pray in front of temple but this time i take the PRASAD inside the temple by my bare hands.
2- I visited Nepal Border and its not like a place where you need Visa , you only hve to show them your bags and you can go there by your own vehicle after fulfilling some paperwork.

Then after reaching to a certain point we stayed and make tent for food distribution counter BHANDARA.

As we are very tired therefore we slept at night and next day wake up early because we have to complete a mission 😉😉.
Morning around 4 am we wake up and take bath with chilled water coming directly from mountains although it was summer but then also we are little bit feeling low after taking bath.
Then our mission started 🤪 the workers with us made

As PRASAD before BHANDARA because in our religion it is must to provide the food to our God or Goddess then it becomes PRASAD and therefore serve or distribute with others.

After that we returned hurrying because there are people waiting for us as the PRASAD will be mixed with food and then BHANDARA will start.
There are many people with us therefore we took some time to revolve around.

Then we follow the flow and reached towards the surface which was like a small beach.
Now it's almost two days so next morning we pack our bags not towards the but to explore more.
Now we heard that Nepal border is very near to this place so we headed towards that direction. After taking jeep and rickshaw we reached to Tanakpur dam.
Then we hve to catch the train therefore we are not able to visit Nepal. Which is inside in thia photo 👇
