A Haridwar-Rishikesh weekend trip from Delhi is one of the most sought after trips. Spiritualism mixed with rafting adventure is the perfect combination. Take a leap of faith in Haridwar and head straight to Rishikesh for camping on the banks of Ganges. Most of the raft leaders are good and engage the members. However, this time we were lucky to have a British guy as raft leader who comes to India for a couple of month every year to follow his passion. Had a wonderful time with this guy. Ending the trip with a decent meal in Chotiwala has become customary. Choose a time that does not clash with any specific festival where huge number of people visit Haridwar to take the holy dip.
