The Nomadic Perspective

Living a nomadic life both thrills me and fills me with grief. One truth I have discovered to be self evident is the transience of all things... by traveling...by constantly moving... I stay ahead of the curve of change. I leave before I can be left. I move before the moment moves away. This city smells like great coffee, rivers, and burning wood. The people are so tall... the children so beautiful... and the skies are moody and poetic. I have only been here 48 hours and I feel I’ve lived a century. Sharing music, hugs and contact information with delegates from all over the world - musicians are so quick to extend themselves for community. I appreciate that so much. Maybe because we are all just alone together. And that's enough.
