Varanasi, among the oldest cities of India, is well connected with trains and flights. It is a beautiful city situated near the banks of river Ganga. We reached Varanasi by train around 10 am in the morning. We have booked our hotel near Sankat Mochan Mandir. In the evening we went out to explore the city. We went to Assi Ghat which is around 1.2km from out hotel. We decided to book a boat and explore all the 88 ghats. The rower took 1400 INR for the full ride and dropped us back to Assi ghat. We then went to Dashashwamedh ghat for the famous ganga arti. It was a unique experience and trip to Varanasi will be incomplete if someone doesn't attend the arti. After that we returned to our hotel.

Day 2

We went to Kashi Vishwanath temple around 9 am in the morning because we had paid 450INR for Rudrabhishek, but you should go early morning if you want to avoid too much crowd. After that we had Kachori and Jalebi for breakfast in Kachori Gali which is near Vishwanath temple . We returned to our hotel and around 3pm we booked an auto and went to Sarnath .The auto took around 400INR. We returned from Sarnath around 6pm and went to Assi Ghat for Ganga Arti and spent the rest of our evening sitting near the bank of Ganga and sipping tea.

Day 3

Next Morning we went to Ramnagar fort. Its a beautiful fort and it has a museum also. Entry fee for museum is 75INR per person. We also visited the BHU campus the same day. We ate many street foods that are very famous in varanasi like Kachori and Jalebi, Bread Toast, Tea, Thandai, Lassi, Banarasi Paan. We also went to the main market area of varanasi. It is called Gadauli Bazzar. We then returned to our hotel around 10pm.

Day 4

We woke up early morning and went to Assi ghat and saw the morning arti and took a boat ride to Manikarnika Ghat. It was altogether a different experience. We also visited some of the other ghats too. We then checked out of our hotel around 5pm as we had our train at 6:30 pm.
