Yumesamdong is the land of perennial snow in North Sikkim close to the Indo-China border here. This is the last inhabited land and the road ends here..The Eastern Himalayas are a delight to watch from this place as this place offers spectacular and mesmerizing views of the mighty Himalayas.

The best season to visit this place is around Mar-Apr..to get the best views of Himalayas..All snow lovers should avoid visiting this place after April as the rainy season starts and snow starts melting.

One has to make a night stay in Lachung to reach Zero Point..as there is no provision for stay here. There is even lack of oxygen here so the best time would be around 9-11 am in the morning...

This place is on the way to heaven and if there is heaven on earth then it's here..

Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and a lovely place to see the grandeur of Himalayas. There are numerous hotels for fooding and lodging and one can reach this place from Gangtok within 5 hrs of road trip. There is a huge mall where we get to buy items pertaining to dining, men's and women's wear, woollen clothes specific to Sikkimese people.. It is worth staying 1 or 2 days in this place to enjoy the charm of the Himalayas from the comfort of the hotel. The atmosphere is very scenic and soothing and one can enjoy the cool days and nights in Gangtok.
Lachung is one of the enchanting places in the outskirts of Sikkim. It is at a distance of 125 kms from Gangtok..The road is very challenging and involves passing waterfalls in the midway..There is the famous Seven Sisters Waterfalls in the way which offers a pleasant view.It is at the confluence of Lachen and Lachung rivers..There is a place called Chumthang from where the road gets separated out of which one goes to Lachung and the other Lachen. There is a camp of the Indian army here..This place has both accomodation of both fooding and lodging for both domestic and international tourists..The best seson to visit this place is Mar-Apr.
Yumesamdong populary known as the zero point can be reached by car or bike by travelling a distance of around 66 kms from Lachung..It is the land of perennial snow and there is a lack of oxygen in this place due to the altitude. There are no places of accomodation for tourists here.So one has to plan the day accordingly if they are planning to visit this place..It would be good to visit this place before 12 pm as rain pours down and clouds start gathering all around this land so its difficult for drivers to come down to Lachung..
