Amidst the ruins of historical India Varanasi is often referred as Kashi, a divine city on the banks of Ganges. The history of this spiritual land revolves around 3,000 years ago. A land where the soul of the human attains salvation, this holy land is considered the oldest living city in the history of India. As you will step in the boundaries of this holy city, the solemn air of divinity will welcome you with open hands.

The city has played a major part to build the culture of our country. Varanasi nurtured the traditional phenomena of our country. The spiritual practices, yoga and Hindi language have still been manifested by the scholars in this holy city. This city has gifted us some really great poets. magnificent singers and instrument players. Pt. Ravi Shankar, the renowned sitar maestro and Ustad Bismillah Khan, the famous shehnai player are the treasures of Varanasi.

Our Hindu culture emerged in the vicinity of this holy city which is degrading to a horror state with the coming time. The banks of the sacred Ganges is polluted by the hands of the human race.

To restore the ages old city, its son’s and daughters have to join the hands. An initiative should be taken by the people to make Varanasi a beautiful memory in the pages of history.
