It is one of the best economical Weekend Gateway near Kolkata. I had a trip on 14 Oct with my friends. I took bus from dhramtala at 11 pm and reached around 5 am in the morning then we hire a auto from bus stand for hotel booking and auto driver had suggested few hotels in our budget and finally we stay in Mahak hotel.
We reached on beach around 5.30 am and enjoyed the breeze of the seashore. Around 8 am we hired motorcycle for visiting Talsari, Mohona, and a beach full of red crabs. and we return our hotel around 11 am.
Again we reached new digha beach around 4 pm and we saw a lot of people were busy in have sea bath, we spent 2 hours on beach and took train from digha railway station and reached Kolkata around 11 pm. Digha is a awesome place to make an weekend exciting within budget.
