The First Passenger Catamaran Built in India
Developed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited, the cruise is the first passenger catamaran built in the country under Make in India at a cost of Rs 15 crore with twin engines where 165 passengers can travel safely for one-and-a-half hours.
About the Cruise
The cruise catamaran has two engines and this luxury cruise will take a 30-metre-long route along the river, resulting in 2 hours of blissful enjoyment. With attractions such as live music and tasty vegetarian and Jain food, it is expected to be a major boost for tourism in this area.
Safety
Your journey will be totally safe as the cruise ship is equipped with 180 life safety jackets, a fire sprinkler system, and emergency rescue boats and has been designed keeping the safety of people in mind.
