Guwahati-> Tenga vally/ Bomdilla- 1 dayguwahati is beautiful place to visit. Go for kamakazi pub. to roam around we can go to faltan bazar/ fancy bazar. you can buy assam tea /darjeeling tea. Women interested in shopping can go for famous assam silk sarees and suits.on the way to tenga vally/bomdilla, aurnachal pradesh we can see many tea gardens.

tenga valley is all about army camps. One can stay at any hotel in bomdilla[a village] or at tenga valley for night stay.you can stay in tents also at bomdila. but be prepared with the winter wear. temp is not that low but the cold winds will blow you up :-).Gowahati -> tenga/ bomdilla, roads are goodFrom tenga onwards, roads are narrow. As someone has said, destination is not important but journey towards the destination is what matters.As soon as you enter arunachal pradesh from bhalukpong[last village on assam -AP border],you will see amazing unexplored Arunachal pradesh.tenga valley/ bomdilla night stay.

Start your Journey in the morning from tenga/bomdilla and reach tawang in 8-10 hours.In between you will go through a place called Sela pass/ sela lake. and of course snowfall, and frozen lakes[ extreme cold seasson : december to april.Places to visit in tawang: Tawang monestry which is asia's largest.lots of gumpa[local name for temples]., stylish women and girls digging mountains :-): now here is a sad thing, only women and girls work here, their husband sit at home drinking..doing nothing :-( thats the culture there.Women work there along with their 1 month babies tied at there back.so pathetic.SUN SETS AT 4 PM so days are short here.

1.5 hour from tawang is the place called Shungetsar.it is called stage 2 at 14500 ft. its freezing cold upto -11 degrees.thats the place to stay, place for camping/ trekking in extreme cold conditions.So tawang is stage 1, Shungetsar is stage 2 and wait for it,yes you guess it right..there is stage 3 also.on the way to shungetsar from tawang, there is a Y-Junction where you can get snacks and tea at cafe rajputanaStage 3 is not for civilians,but we had our contacts with army persons so they took us to forward post-last indian post from where we can see Chinese drones camps and posts.Can't disclose the name of the place.There is a place at stage 3 to visit for civilians, it is bumla, india china border

on the way back to Giwahati, we visited over hyped kaziranga national park.my advice : don't go there at all, I was not able to see a single rhino. :-(
