I started my journey from bangkok airport in a cab to the temple of RECLINING BUDDHA. Its a buddist temple. This particular temple is very famous because of the huge statue of reclining buddha, It is also said that it has the largest collection of Buddha images in the entire thailand and the statue is also 46m long. The timings for the temple are 8am to 6:30pm and there is a entry ticket of 100 Baht per person. You are allowed to take photographs in the temple.

It represents the Historical Buddha during his last illness, about to enter the parinirvana.He is lying on his right side, his head resting on a cushion or relying on his right elbow, supporting his head with his hand. After the Buddha's death, his followers decide to build a statue of him lying down. They first built the reclining Buddha inside the Wat Pho Temple then, decades later, they started making the sculpture everywhere in South East Asia.. This temple is also recognized by UNESCO. This is one of the must visit places in Bangkok because of its royal structures and architectures.
