Solo trip to Rangeelo Rajasthan: Udaipur

Solo trip to Udaipur (a city of lake) in Rajasthan....

I visited Udaipur in April 2023, weather was good, it was raining on and off.....
As Monsoon brings different colors  to Udaipur, so probably it is good time to visit there for Monsoon lovers..

I found, this place is complete package in itself..
City having lively ghats 🚣‍♀️ people are awake till late night enjoying lake view, and various lake side eateries open till late night, temples 🛕 having great architecture, Palaces with history related to Mewar dynasty, also greenery, gardens, waterfall 🏞 and hills ⛰️ few km from City..

During my 3 days trip:

* Visited major sightseeing places in and around city : City palace, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola, Gangaur ghat and so on....also Visited some off beat places (Raita village and Alsigarh village).

* Experienced some Rajasthani Cultural shows, puppet shows and Rajasthani Ghoomar dance💃

* Tried authentic Rajasthani food, specially loved delicious daal baati churma...

* Got to know "leather journal" making process, visited a small scale setup.

* also visited another nearby city Chittorgarh which is another historical place and have Chittorgarh fort (one of the largest fort in India and Unesco word heritage site) and this is the same fort where Rani padmini commited Jauhar ( if you have watched bollywood movie Padmawat, then you can relate it well)

* And yes enjoyed strolling the Colourful shopping streets..

👉 This trip I started from Delhi not from Banglore..

I would like to go there again n again. So if you have not visited yet,  i will say, Must plan a trip to Udaipur 😊 and experience the beauty ...and yes must hire a guide to know the detailed history if you are interested...
