Coonoor is a lovely hill station of Tamilnadu, which is best to visit between October to March. Still all through summer that’s now, the weather is pleasantable with chill nights and less warm days. Next month fruit and vegetable festivals are held something that shouldn’t be missed if you are travelling to Coonoor.

If you are planning by road it takes 14 hours drive. Another way is via Jammu where there is a flight to Leh kushok bakula rimpochee airport. But for this, you need to travel from Manali to Jammu then take the flight. By train again only till jammu tawi station trains run. By bus JKSRTC operate but from Kargil. Kindly do recheck the above once more before booking for they keep changing due to travel restrictions.

The land filled with turquoise blue waters, on the Virgin Islands with an ancient history, tucked away as a piece of island surrounded by seas is Andaman Nicobar islands. Beautiful islands called as land of hundred islands in Malayalam, which is an offbeat destination of India, filled with mesmerising nature, surrounded by sea waters is Lakshwadeep islands. Both are popular spots to visit.,Yes summers are hot and scorching with occasional rains in summer.,My suggestion would be, try planning to visit both the islands based on your travel plan.

There are few other places in and around Pondicherry that you could visit apart from the usual ones. Will list it out below. 1. Alamparai Fort - This fort is quite famous in the surroundings. It's around 50kms from Pondicherry (Towards Chennai (or) we can say it comes between Chennai and Pondicherry). You can have some leisure time with your friends and family by the Sea Shore. But remember, visit this place somewhere between 8am - 11am and 3pm - 6pm. Alamparai is a paradise for Photographers. To know more about this place you can check my blog on this. https://www.tripoto.com/trip/alamparai-fort-5fbb7bc103152 2. Sadras Fort - A similar but quite smaller fort than Alamparai, this Sadras Fort was once used for Trading. There isn't much attraction at this fort but if you ask me one good thing, then it's for Photography purposes and fun with your friends. It's very near to Kalpakkam (Where the nuclear plant is situated). Nothing much to worry as there ain't any radiation affecting us. 3. Marakkanam - A major attraction near Pondicherry. This place is famous for the Second Largest Salt Pan in India. Not only that, we have one particular spot at Marakkanam called Buckingham Canal Viewpoint, where you can witness the Beauty of Buckingham Canal along the ECR. To know more about this spot you can check my article. https://www.tripoto.com/puducherry/trips/morning-tales-of-beautiful-buckingham-canal-at-marakkanam-india-5efdfb84e3021 4. Chunnambar River - The backwaters at Pondicherry where you can enjoy your ride on the Boats or if you wanna experience the Boathouse it's there for you. 5. Pichavaram Mangrove Forest - If you have enough time to visit across Pondicherry there's a Mangrove Forest which is about 64kms away which is one awesome place to visit.

I think laas Maas as mentioned above is quite spicy along with phaal curry, chicken kolhapuri, . Also, it depends from place to place, the spiciness of food. so if you travel to Rajasthan, almost every dish you try will be on spicier side.
