Today was a day of exploring the backwaters of #Goa
My buddy and I decided to take his canoe after a 80km ride across the state and go exploring what lay in the narrow mangroves ahead. Post the unexpected rains, it was a perfect day for a boat ride.
Do note, Its fun to experience this via a canoe or kayak as it can meander you closer to the banks to get some breath taking views of the basking crocodiles across this 15kms stretch that is highly populated promising one a guaranteed sighting. Camouflaged in the greyish mud lay these prehistoric beasts, basking in the sun, blending perfectly in their surroundings.
Welcome to the start point of my journey. I would urge everyone to do this trip and take back memories of this sighting yourself. As for my croc shots, ill keep them over for drinks and cocktails with friends at home.
