The city bears the imprints left by most Vietnamese dynasties, along with the vibrancy of the local life and the delicacies of the native palette. Constructed with a very unique design, it can be seen truly distinctive off any pagodas you might have seen. The One Pillar Pagoda, as the locals will tell you, was entirely rebuilt after the French destroyed it before they fled the country. Locals believe that offering prayers here will bring forth fertility and good health.
