Lost in the mountains- Kedarkantha Peak

I went to Kedarkantha Peak through INME, which is a camping organisation based in Delhi. There were 33 people from all over India.  Our base camp was in Tons valley in Uttarakhand. We reached at 1st base at around 9,000 feet where we pitched our tents.

We woke up the next day to trek ahead, just to realize that the weather was too bad to trek ahead. We tried again the next day but in vain. We came down the third day, a little disappointed of course. We spent more days interacting at the base camp which was also productive and we were over the fact of not reaching the summit. Honestly, my main motto was to meet new people from all over India, which I did.

I made friends from Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Gujarat, and also from Bombay, my hometown. It was a great experience and I'm never going to forget this camp which gave me so many memories to cherish!
