It was truly a plan out of the blue, totally an unplanned trip. It was like today i thought of it and got my train ticket via tatkal (thanks Indian Railway) and the next thing was i was boarding my train from New Delhi railway station in evening .
The next day i reached Katra. Now you have various options for hotels or inns, cheap ones and expensive ones. Its totally up to you which one you would prefer. I only had to freshen up so i opted for a cheap one as i was going to use that room for 1 or 2 hours the most. Then i just checked out ans started with the yatra around 11 am. By evening 5 pm i reached the bhavan and what i got to see was this beautiful sunset. The mountains were claded in the bright orange and yellow color. And yes the bhavan was also looking pretty. Around 6 or 7 i got done with everything and then i had dinner in one of the shrine bhojanayalas. Then after resting for a while i started descending and the next morning around 4am i reached down and was ready to board my train back to Delhi.
