Day 1

Being a model offers you a lot of opportunities to travel, and being that lucky I always extend my trips to see the places and backpack in my own way after the shoot. The shoot was in Kochi, and my journey started from there. My first destination was Alleppey. It took 1.5 hours for me to reach there from Kochi in a government bus which charged me 114 rupees. Pretty cheap!

It was raining cats and dogs so I couldnt go to many places but my hostel was by the beach so I enjoyed the weather, drank chai having a view of the raging sea and listening to trees rustling as if the winds are trying to wake them up!

The hostel took us to a very famous restaurant"Puttum Kattunum" which is famous for it's puttum rice, curries , mint masala chai and biryani Chai❣️

The night was just about to begin when everyone at the hostel started playing drinking games and going wild. The wildest were Leila and I, we bonded as if we were soul sisters from the East and West meant to be united and enjoy this night to the fullest. We ran to the beach, the mighty waves and the beautiful rain. It was stark dark but so beautiful. We sang, we danced, it was almost like a suicide mission, but thankfully, our hostel guy rescued us in time. It was 3a.m. and we were laughing, helping each other to get all the dirt off. In that moment, I truly knew I was so happy, the past, the future, nothing else mattered.

Day 2

It was a bright sunny day so the friends I made at hostel and I, decided to go for the beautiful boat ride in the backwaters of Kerala for which it's popular in the whole world. We were three people and decided to go in a smaller boat to also explore the narrow backwaters.

It was a beautiful heavenly experience! It was lush green and what a weather!✨

It started to rain while we were on the boat and what could have been a better decision than to jump in the waters and just swim and feel the beauty soak in us. The kind helmsman took us through beautiful narrow backwaters, he called it the secret ones and took us there because we were his kind of special guests. Obvious right! 3 pretty girls on a boat, they are special!

After the boat ride, it was time for the authentic Kerala food to fill our bellies and oh my god! It was top 5 the most delicious meals I had in India. The couple who served us, served us with so much love and care. The man even sang a song at the end of our ride and we danced while we were waiting for our ferry on our way back to Alleppey.

Day 3

I had to come back to Kochi for my shoot and after that I immediately left for another beautiful place, Munnar. Famous for it's beautiful mountains, the western ghat ranges.

The hills with coconut trees and lush green valleys with clouds everywhere and lots of tea plantations, it was like I entered in a beautiful bollywood song location.

First day I didn't do much because I reached late so I just chilled at the hostel with my friends I made there. We played carrom and deadliest way to play darts and danced on Bollywood songs. It was crazy!!!!!

Day 4

This day was fun, all of the people I met at the hostel, we went to the main Munnar city.

My very special friend I made during the trip Leila, Jordan and I went and Jordan was being a gentleman to take care of us while we were busy doing our makeover. We left our hostel in dresses and pyjamas but within an hour we transformed to something you'll see in photos.

We went to the tea factory which was quite boring but the company I had made it super special and fun. Tried different kinds of chai, didn't buy any because mostly people say that they overcharge, and who wants to be looted on a budget trip right! We also got lost but finally made our way back to hostel.

I made rotis for everyone for dinner at the hostel and we had a movie night where we watched Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. There were many people who didn't understand the language but were so interested and watched the whole movie feeling all the emotions. Some of them even jumped off their chairs when Simran tried to catch the train in that iconic scene.

Crazzyyy night again! Leila Jordan and I went up to the terrace and talked about different interesting things, sharing things and then finally went to bed.

Day 5

Left for Thekkady from Munnar in a government bus, took very long to reach but finally made it. Nothing much just travelling on this day. Thankfully Jordan accompanied me, so we shared our childhood experiences and talked about how diverse our culture has been from each other since he was from Canada, and me from India.

Day 6

Went to the National Park with very funny Jordan. It was the Periyar National Park. Because of the monsoons we couldn't spot many animals but all we saw were the great Indian Bison, Giant Malabar squirrel, bats in a tree, Sambar deer and lots of leeches crawling up to me. Jordan was a saviour, he managed to pluck out all the leeches crawling up to me and even helped me make my stupid videos.

We didn't see a lot of animals, so what? WE BEHAVED LIKE ONE🐒

After this I left to Kochi from where I caught my flight to Delhi, taking away all the beautiful fun memories and those friends in my heart💓
