The roadtrip to Chandratal lake from was again a very exciting one as we had to cross Kunzum Pass which is a high altitude pass in the greater himalayas that connects Kullu valley and Lahaul valley to Spiti Valley. At a height of 4590m above sea level, one has to cross the pass to go to Chandratal lake. The mountains are made of loose rocks and hence the roads are heavily damaged due to frequent landslides. This video portrays a part of the journey.
The average speed of the vehicle would be hardly 15kms/hour.
