Bali has much more than just golden sand beaches , water activities and temples. One will find an exciting , fun-filled nightlife scene with its treasury of bars, pubs , clubs and sunset chill-out spots. Some are even open as late as 04:00 in the morning while a few others just get more lively and enjoyable as the night passes by.
Here's my pick on The Nightlife in Bali for the one's who love to chill , drink and groove to some great music :
1. Sky Garden Rooftop Lounge.
The Legian Complex comprises of a great variety of venues under one roof – the most prominent of all , is the rooftop lounge and Sky Dome. They offer great buffets with promotional free-flow beers and fabulous gigs by DJs. The bar dominates the southern edge of the rooftop and serves a great range of drinks and Sheesha. Sky Garden will definitely satisfy your appetite with delicious food and a wide variety of drinks and moat importantly the 180-degree views above Legian.
2. Paddy's Pub.
Paddy's Pub is yet another happening pub at Legian with much of its former appeal with its exciting themed parties and reasonably priced drinks. One can either choose to be in its open-air terrace and enjoy street views or go further inside to the bar, lounge or dance floor where one may mostly find youngsters partying at all hours. The playlist is a good mix between old school and contemporary , so all kinds of folks can enjoy here.
3. Hard Rock Cafe.
Hard Rock Cafe Bali is a renowned dining and entertainment venue as well as as one of the most-loved nightlife spot. It's located just across the sands of Kuta Beach. It's best known of its mouth watering burgers , fries , smoke BBQ, steaks and wide choice of drinks. Nor forgetting to mention the live performances and bands that had me awestruck.
4. The Engine Room
Engine Room is a hippieish three-storey nightclub that chugs away nightly with a mostly young crowd on the main street of Kuta square, downtown Legian. Party people can directly walk into the main dance floor to groove on some great music from the Legian sidewalk, and it is a famous stop on their bar-hopping adventures. The upper floors have comparatively a mix crowd is less noisy compared to the ground floor.
5. Potato Head
It's a slightly epensive bar but it has a classy feel and awesome cocktails. The view is delightful and a great place to catch the sunset. If you're looking for a place to drink and sunbake , this is the right place for you. They have an amazing pool , the ambience is great , the food and drinks are just all you need to let loose and chill with a view.
6. Bounty Discotheque
Bounty is the heroic and hottest nightlife spot in Legian, known for its wild parties that usually attracts young crowds and Aussies. The complex has it all : an expansive discotheque, restaurant and bar where you can enjoy booze while watching fashion shows, sexy dancers and DJs. Bounty is definitely a must visit atleast once to set yourself young, wild and free.
