Hello everyone
I am writting a trip made my two friend one from Mumbai named karunesh and another from Indore myself rahul exploring Indore and its nearby.
Being a banker we are actually deficit of holidays????????,but we got a chance to explore Indore on wekend holiday coupled with eid holiday and one risky leave without any prior intimation????.
Originally there was no plan on Friday one of my school friend who lives in Mumbai says that he is coming to indore by covering 600+ km on bike .he started his journey on 10 sep 16 at 8 am and reached Indore in the evening by 5 pm after getting fressed up we decided to explore Indore .so I took my Thunderbird 350 and karunesh on his yahama r 15 we explored some of the popular food point of the city with a visit to popular chapan dukan Street and after that we decided to explore night life of Indore and have our dinner and drinks.you can get the list of best restaurant and bar on Zomato we picked one but when we reached their we were not allowed to enter as it was Saturday night for couple entry only.so we return disappointed and chosed another location. At this point technology like Google maps and zomato plays a big role???????? after all this we return and planed for next day journey.
We had planed to have a visit to Omkareshwar by going through patal pani and choral dam tourist spot near indore we decided to do our journey on separate bike
We planed to start early in the morning by 7 to 8 am but we got late and decided to explore breakfast specially Indori Poha so we simply googled popular nashta spot and reached their in anand bazare the Poha was really good coupled with jalebi.
Now we started our riding journey at about 10 am. Our first target was to reach patal pani in Mhow district the road was in good condition and the view to patal pani is superb. All green fields and small ranges. we take some photos with our bikes .we reached patal pani at about 11 am ,stayed over their watching the waterfall which got it name as it is considered the water goes directly to patal(undergroung).now we start our journey to choral dam on all our way we were getting a good attantion as a biker
Choral dam has a resort build by MP tourism it is well maintained had boating facility with children adventure and mesmorising view
Now it was near about 1 pm we decided to have a lunch in choral resort,it host a in-house Malwa restaurant and bar with mp tourism hospitality .the food was good and price was also not much hiked.
At 2 pm we leave to Mhow to continue our journey to Omkareshwar,now we were lost in Mhow as our gps was turned off so as to save some battery for return journey .as we all know the importance of battery juice ???????? during travel and somehow asking local reached correct road but now the road was in its deteriorating and repair condition which make us loose time finally after a strech of 15 km we get a good road we continued our journey .now comes the best part the view from road to omkarehware was mesmorising full of greenery and zig Zag roads .we both were riding the bike near to each other so that we can stick to each other and donot get lost which may result into further delay. At about 5:30 pm we finally reached Omkareshwar visited the temple and now comes the sunset
On the banks of river Narmada the sunset was looking beautiful,we were late as we have to return back but we also donot want to miss the sunset so we finally enjoyed the sunset on bank of river narmada by 7 pm we started our return journey now we were more cautious to drive in a passive way close to each other as the traffic was. High and road was also risky,we reached Indore by 10 pm have dinner and slept with dreams for next day journey to ujjain
Now on 12 sep16 our plan was to visit Ujjain and after returning from their the sarafa Street
Before starting our journey we decided to fill up our stomach,so searched for famUs panatha of Indore reached the spot with help of Google maps but it was complete fiasco ,as at that location the food point was not present,so we learnd a lesson that Google maps is not always correct????????????????.somehow eating here and there and getting a backup we started our journey reached Ujjain by 1 pm the road is in very good condition ,thanks to Kumbh because of which it is maintained well,now comes the long queue for Mahakal darson it was Monday because of which the line was long we spend 3 hours in line finally after which we got a chance of Mahakal darshan,for shorter time in line you can opt for paid version of queue for faster darshan,now it's time for food .there are many more temples in Ujjain to explore but as we were running of time ,we decided to enjoy the sunset on Shipra river on ram ghat after which we continued our return journey.a s karunesh had to do his return journey to Mumbai next day so we decided to do some servicing of his bike and after that we continued to night food market of Indore called sharafa bazare the strange thing is that in daytime the market which is of jwellors in night simply transform into food Street with jwellors board on top of shops and stalls are put in front of shop with local flavour and cousins.it is a bit crowdy Street with narrow lane with all kind of Street delicious and tastefully food. finally we start returning home after some km cought by police as they are always suspicious on seeing diff state registard bike no somehow we come out of that and it was also memorable for ending our journey.
The next day was left for travelling and rest so that the coming working day we can join our office's with a smiling face and tones of memories.
And in this way the trip of exploring Indore and nearby comes to its end????????.
