Things to see in Pandoh:
1. Pandoh Lake: The pandoh lake is very beautiful and gathers tourists attraction because of its deep blue water and scenic view.
It's a delight for a photographer and one can't afford to miss this spot. Pandoh lake comes under the supervision and administration of bhakra beas management board.
2. Baglamukhi Temple: The total distance from pandoh to baglamukhi temple is 3km. Breathtaking views, adventurous routes and beautiful pandoh lake will capture your heart.
The second thing in our itinerary was Parashar lake.
Prashar Lake: It took us 3hrs to reach Prashar Lake from pandoh. However, if you want to skip pandoh, you can reach Prashar lake directly via Mandi.
The route of Parashar lake was very narrow and roads were in a bad shape covered by rocks all around but the view was scenic and worth watching. You can reach directly via car to Prashar lake or choose to trek from Baggi which is at a distance of 7.5 km.
You can also enjoy camping 🏕️ at Parashar lake. There is also an option of staying at mandir there, you can also adopt that .
Barot is at a distance of approx 100 km from Prashar Lake.
Barot is located in the Mandi district. It is a village that was developed primarily for Shanon Hydel Project. This project is now the main tourist attraction. It is situated 40kms from Joginder Nagar and 65 km from Lilly district.
The haulage trolley was not operational but this trolley connects Joginder Nagar with Barot
Barot is well known for its camping 🏕️, trekking, and lake.
Camping amidst mountains, beautiful river, greenry, the sound of the river, birds, and the air is a perfect weekend gateway.
