Days are shorter. Nights are longer. Weather is cooler, and the New Year seems closer. However, summers is a long way, which actually leaves me thinking: Where to travel in 2019? Over the past one year, cozy destinations like Bali and Italy have managed to rule the Facebook / Instagram accounts, and year-round destinations like Vietnam, Dubai, and Mykonos have had their moments. From the untraveled classic beach destination which has been touted as another version of Iceland – The Atlantic Ocean, or an untouched spot for rum lovers – Cuba; my did-you-know list is sure to help you plan your trip for 2019:

The first thing that comes to mind after hearing this name: tragic and horrific history of genocide! Rwanda, also popularly known as the “Switzerland of Africa” for a reason that is pretty clear: calm, clean, disciplined. While travellers visit Rwanda to explore the mountain gorillas at Volcanoes National Park, there’s more to it - incredibly beautiful lakes and landscapes, local villages and markets to get a feel of the regular life there.
