So It all started from being a lousy day turning out to be completely exuberant and thrilling experience.
Whenever it comes to a short trip and break , there's no other option that comes in my mind but Murthal. But being visiting there too often made me think it's overrated. And that's when Neemrana comes into play.
The journey-
Being 104 kms from Gurgaon, it takes around 2.5 hours to exactly reach there,however, we reached early as traffic was in our favour 😌.
We started at around 11 am as it was totally unplanned,but I'd suggest to start early in the morning so as to enjoy the view and scenic beauty that the road gives you.
In between ,we took halt for meals, which is not required if you plan to have buffet there at the fort.
When it comes for the best , nothing can beat the OLD RAO Restaurant, its G(old). It falls on right side on your way to Neemrana.
The Destination-
The greenery and cleanliness at the fort makes it completely paradise. The If you have money, it's a total VIP treatment for you.
You are not allowed to visit there for "ghoomna" purpose ,There's no thing as visiting fee , as it is a fort turned out hotel. So you have to opt for either of the two or both: Lunch buffet and/or zipline adventure ,in combo with which you can take entry and visit.
Lunch Buffet : Lunch buffet comes at a cost of Rs-1700 per person and is till 2:30 PM only . The food is really very good but there aren't much varieties. The ambience is very nice and soothing .All in all, I'd say it's not that much worth it relative to the cost.
Zipline Adventure: I'd say one should do it at least once. It will really come out to be a wonderful experience. They offer you with two rides : a short one for 1500 and the longer one which is 1.2 kms(divided in 5 stretches) for 2300. **You can get student discount on them on showing your IDs.
Pro tip :Take the longer one,as it gives you a complete adrenaline rush and also throws the phobia out of you.
The problem with the shorter one is that it has only two stretches, so for the first timers like me , you won't be able to enjoy it that much because of phobia , adjustments, etc . However in the longer one ,there are 5 , so even if you are hesitant or fearful ,you will adjust to it fully by the 2nd or 3rd stretch and guess what ,you still have 2 left to take it on 🤟.

- Morning /Evening Sunset views are just ecstatic .
- It's a good place to even stay there at the fort , prices start from 10k for two.
- Also do try the Highway line Restraunt which is 15 mins from Neemrana fort
- if you are flexible in your plans , Head for Jaipur the next morning ;)
