We reached jaisalmer at 5 am and left for our hotel.
we took some rest and finally we started sightseeing at 10am. So , the first destination was the jaisalmer fort or the golden fort.
We were amazed by the beauty of this fort as its the only living fort in India. We explored the fort and went on the top to see the alluring view of the golden city jaisalmer.
Then we headed to gadisar lake and it was indeed a lovely place, you will witness Indian hand-work shops while entering the gadisar lake
After seeing the beautiful lake , we took steps towards patwon ki haveli and again u can witness beautiful market offering different types of hand works for all age groups.
Then after taking some rest at the villa , we were excited to see the night view of whole city from the top.
After a beautiful day at jaisalmer , we headed towards the thar desert - the most awaited part of our trip , the roadtrip from jaisalmer to thar desert took 1 and a half hour and the roads were nature's bounty. When we reached our camping place , it was superb. We took some rest and then headed to watch the sun getting lost in the desert. And seriously this might have been the most amazing sunset I ever witnessed.....
Then we returned to our villa and got ready for the night cultural program and we loved how beautifully each Artist came and performed their art peices
The next morning we headed to desert safari.
When the driver took the Jeep into such a deep sand dune , it sent shivers down my spine. But all together it was a experience worth remembering and indeed the best part of the trip. Then we went on a roadtrip to Sam village and enjoyed with locals.
Then the next morning we headed towards the blue city- jodhpur.
Our first destination was the fort which is home to many Bollywood movies - The Mehrangarh fort. The fort was on the top of the city with iconic views. You will witness people from all around the world.
The next destination was the umaid Bhawan palace. I was amazed by the royalty of the palace, then we entered the museum to know more about the history of palace.
After spending two hours at the palace we left to see the clock tower.
It was an amazing day at jodhpur and then we again boarded in the train and left for jaipur
We reached Jaipur at 12 in the afternoon and headed towards our hotel. After some rest , we went to see the Hawa mahal.
We spent 2 hours at Hawa Mahal and then went to the famous street markets of jaipur.
Then we headed to watch movie at one of the best theatre of asia , The rajmandir theatre
It was a lovely experience at the theatre and then we went to see the Albert museum which looked stunning at night.
And finally it was the time to say goodbye to the city and we packed our bags again but this time for hometown. All together it was a great experience, Rajasthan should be a must go place in your bucket list.
