Day 1

This is how I Explored " Jaisalmer" Beautifully :

Recently I'm back from my last trip "Jaisalmer". I always plan my trips by myself only.

I've booked my Stay and Safari with " Sultan Resorts", they've a very beautiful campsite in "Sam Sand Dunes".

So it was a complete 3 Days Trip, I explored Jaisalmer and I stayed at " The Great Indian Desert".

I reached jaisalmer around 12 PM. as i already booked my train from Delhi. I've booked my pick up and drop with sultan Resorts only, they provided me transportation also. My host picked me up from the Jaisalmer railway station and we started from there to "Sam Sand Dunes".

while traveling towards to Sam we Explored

"Kuldhara Village ; The Haunted Fort", Kuldhara village is very famous haunted place to see.

it is a 300 years old village. history says in a single night whole village People fled.

it is a abounded village. The Kuldhara village was originally settled by Brahmins who had migrated from Pali to Jaisalmer region.

The residents of the village were Vaishnavites. The main temple of the village had sculptures of Vishnu and Mahishasura Mardini. Most of the inscriptions start with an invocation to Ganesha.

As the sun sets across the sand dunes, the gates of Kuldhara are closed by the locals of the neighbouring villages.

After exploring the most famous fort, we're starting towards to " Khamba Fort". less people know about this fort as it is not explored much. it is around 20kms far from Kuldhara.

Kuldhara village takes you to khamba fort.

Don't miss out on Khamba Fort when you travel to Jaisalmer, This fort is completely looks like Kuldhara Village.

after exploring "Khamba Fort" we started towards to the desert, in-between we halt at the very small lake, which is called " Jaseri" local says it is a very old lake in the desert, and it has a "Brass" base which is makes more beautiful to see this lake. Lake has very picturesque view. I was actually wonder to see a beautiful lake in the desert, which never dries.
