Day 1

Shimla, also called as the queen of hill stations, is a place where every wanderer definitely wants to visit in their life. Though it is just a three and a half an  hour journey of total 90kms distance from my hometown KALKA which is a gateway to many hill stations. I wanted my trip to be distinctive.

First,I chose my mode of transportation to be an activa and second it was  going to be a night drive.

So my journey began at 10 pm from kalka. I knew it was going to be a thrilling experience for me because of the freezing weather in mountains. But I was prepared enough with my scarf , jacket and gloves. I drove continuously without any break. The drive was exhilarating and the mountains' view in moonlight was breathtaking. Away from the hustle- bustle of life I was in my own dream world. I was gazing at the moon and beautiful roads. I reached shimla by 1:30 AM.

I headed towards the heart of shimla town , The Ridge. It is considered as the safest place. I was amazed to see the night view of shimla. It was splendid.A walk on the road in a peaceful paradise was a complete escape for me. It was much needed time that I wanted to give myself.

And obviously, I was expecting that the whole shimla market would be shut at late night. So after spending a beautiful time  with myself, I started to way back home at 2:30 AM. While coming back I was craving to eat maggi, as a trip in the mountains is incomplete without having a plate of maggi. So I found a dhaba near  kumarhatti where I can have a plate of maggi. And then I reached my home at 5:00 AM in the morning.
It was a combination of both late night and an early morning thrilling  ride.

HAPPY TRAVELLING ❣️
