Thailand -

The most irritating question that people asked me when I told them that I am traveling to Thailand was -

Hey what will you do in Bangkok? Have fun!

Let me tell you YES, I had fun and in ways that are beyond imagination of a normal tourist!

There is more to Thailand that meets the eyes! Partying, night life, nature and heritage , this country is blessed with all!

Here is my day to day itinerary where I tasted the flavour of multiple cities in Thailand.

Total expenses(flights & visa included) : 31900 + 19666(flights-break up mentioned below) = 51566 INR

Flight tickets : Mumbai to Bangkok (BKK ) and back - 7034 + 8056 = 15090 INR

Internal flights : Bangkok - Surat Thani - 2295 INR

                   Krabi - Bangkok - 2281 INR

Visa : On arrival visa free of cost for Indian citizens till April 2020

Day 1:

Reach Bangkok (BKK) and take a bus to Pattaya city.

We bought an AIS simcard at the airport which costed 721 INR.

We stayed at Qinglian hostel in Pattaya, cost 293 INR for a day.

Since we were 4 travellers we booked a car and went around the city. Cost 603 INR per person.

The tickets to the site seeing places were bought online which saved a good amount of money!

At night we went to the famous Walking street. Timing 11pm onwards.

TIP : All the travel companies in Pattaya would give you a combined price for site seeing.

The price is inclusive of the care rent, the ticket fare and a commission that they get from the tourist sites.

Day 2:

Site seeing in Bangkok.

Wat Phra Chetuphon

Wat Arun

These places are easily accessible on foot and ferry.

We took a night bus from Mochit station to Sukothai.

TIP : When you are visiting palaces or temples in Thailand please be dressed in full length pants and a half sleeve tshirt or shirt. They have strict dress code

and would not allow you to enter the palace/ temple. Or else you will spend money renting/ buying clothes in Bangkok.

This is a huge place to cover and can be easily done using a bicycle, which are easily available on rent. Cost - 30 THB for a day.

Do try the Sukothai noodles!
