A Day trip to Dragor, a small fishing village in Copenhagen

First of all let me share things to do in Dragor Copenhegan.
Fishing Village
Sea food restaurant & the Museum
Cobble streets and the Picturesque yellow building in the old town
Catch the crab in the harbor & the dragor fort
Oresund bridge view point

Okay we reached dragor by around 12 pm and parked our car in the harbor area, as this is the central location to explore the town.
After parking the car, we wasted no time and headed straight toward the harbor area. The moment we arrived, Dragør greeted us with a sense of calm — the sea was still, and rows of yachts and fishing boats sat quietly, some plugged in and charging their batteries. It was the kind of peaceful scene that instantly slows you down.

From there, we made our way to the old museum area, where time seemed to stand still. Wandering through the cobblestone streets of the old town, we were surrounded by rows of yellow-painted houses — picture-perfect and a dream for photography lovers. Every corner felt like stepping into a living postcard.

As we strolled through the charming alleys, we stopped for a sweet treat — ice cream served in a warm Belgian waffle, the perfect refreshment on a sunny day. The vibe around the streets was cozy and lively, with street shops selling local crafts, handmade souvenirs, and inviting cafés that spilled out onto the pavement with locals chatting over coffee.

Soon after, we headed for lunch and found a cozy seafood spot by the water. The fish and chips we tried were fresh, crispy, and full of flavor — simple, but incredibly satisfying.
Later in the evening, we walked to the far end of the harbor, where we were treated to a beautiful view of the Øresund Bridge stretching across the sea. As the sun began to dip, we wrapped up our day at Dragør Fort, a historic coastal fortress that added the perfect touch of heritage to our trip.

Overall, it was an amazing and relaxing day trip — full of charm, local flavor, and quiet beauty. If you’re in Copenhagen, Dragør is a hidden gem you shouldn’t miss. With easy metro and bus connectivity, getting there is a breeze. And before you leave, don’t forget to stop by the souvenir shop — even if it’s just to admire the handcrafted miniature sailing ships that capture the spirit of this seaside village.
