It's Bir Billing! Yes, I fell in love with this place so much that it's been added to the list 'Sind keeps visiting these places again and again'
Munching carrots, taking walks, cycling across the snow mountains, eating cake, paragliding, good food, cute cafes,waking up to beautiful views, sleeping to stars, every little thing about this place is what made me fall in love with this place❤️😇
We reached Bir Billing from Dalhousie. The way to Bir was spectacular! From Palampur, all we could see on one side was Snow mountains
We stayed at Zostel 2.0 Bir Billing. I must say this place is extremely beautiful. I wouldn't mind staying here forever. The place offers comfortable stays with views that stay with you for a life time.
We had some good food for lunch at Zostel. Dal, roti, rice and they also made me a cold coffee.
In the evening, we went to the market. We walked through calm and serene paths meeting and greeting people in the way. You definitely will see everyone give you a cheerful smile.
We went to Nyingyang Monastery, but it was closed so we couldn't go inside. We saw it from the outside though.
This is a huge monastery. We witnessed their prayers, we walked through the monastery.
There was a buddha statue under a tree in the monastery. I love buddha, hence I sat here for a while looking at it, it was peaceful!
They gave us snacks which included a Chocolate and Maggi too! 😍
The monastery is huge and has great views to offer. We went to the top, walked through the monastery, explored the place in our own way!
My favorite corner!
I found a pretty and calm street. I have a favorite corner in this street. We sat here, listened to some music, met horses and cows.
You should meet Usha Aunty for sure. She is adorable! Kuckie's Cafe was fun. We went to the terrace of the cafe, to see the sunset over the monastery. I ate Besan Chilla and I loved the Tomato Salsa, aunty was so sweet, she shared the recipe with me. I made them at home multiple times. Hot chocolate is my all time favourite, that's something I would order at every place I go!
When in Bir, you should tick paragliding off your bucket list. I did the same. I was extremely happy and thrilled to do this. ✅😍
Bir Billing is definitely one of the most beautiful sites for paragliding!
The way to the take off site was fun, Amidst the huge trees, the sun rays falling on your face, a pleasant cool breeze, in a jeep, you arrive at the Paragliding take off site to witness beautiful view! 🏔️
Simple things that are most memorable!
We did pluck Oranges from the trees from the neighbours house. I found a friend who followed me all the way. I met a two week old lamb! How amazing!
Cycling through the snow mountains!
One side was the snow mountains and the other side was the landing site. The sky had people flying, I mean Paragliding 😛
Another favourite cafe in Bir. Interesting interiors, serene views and amazing food, that's this place for me.
Do try Banoffee pie!
I knew the trip was coming an end. We came back to Zostel. Bonfire night, amazing stories and many laughs, that's how it ended.
With a heavy heart, I had to say good bye to Bir Billing. Bir Billing will always hold a special place and I cannot wait to go back! 🥺💙
