Day 1

We started our journey early morning from Pune to Matheran on bike.It is around 90-95 kms.It was much needed break from the work. Since corona started most of us not preferring the trips. So we choose weekday to avoid crowd. We checked hotels online and booked hotel 1 day before we suppose to leave.

We planned to reach their by before 10 to catch the toy train. But missed it.

Bike - 30

We took tickets from the counter for 11 o'clock train.
The counter  is just in front of Aman Lodge. The experience of toy train was amazing due to the view of valley. The only city which not allowed the personal vehicles in the campus.

Took around 30 mins to reach to Matheran market.
We had already book a hotel, it was 500 m from the station.

The hotel is very amazing , when you are planning to go Matheran can consider this hotel to stay. Not so expensive and good infrastructure. It has swimming pool, small garden for kids, game options like TT, carrom, badminton. You can also request for bonfire if want, extra charges will be applicable. They have DJ in the night around 9-11 pm.Over all it is good.
