The slippery stoned steps amidst the West Jaintia hills led to this majestic Krangsuri. We took the Jowai road to reach the destination, and witnessed picturesque view brimming with greenary. It took us 3 hours to reach there from Shillong. The well constructed road with Stony green fields along with the views of undulating hills made the journey more appealing.
The pathway to the fall was stiff and slippery due to moist stones. The pleasing sound of the fall could be heard even from a distance away. We gave Rs 50 as entry fee and had to give Rs 200 per person for the life jacket as we had already planned to enjoy in the water.
We quickly changed our clothes in the changing room and put on the life jackets. The in-charged people there helped us to tighten our jackets. The child inside us awakened the moment we stepped into the cold water. We were slipping, falling, rising, laughing and splashing water to each other, forgetting all our worries. We were not allowed to go for a dip at the plunge pool to enjoy the tranquil ambience due to speedy flow of water. So we stayed at the upper pool near the big rocks.
After all the fun in water for about an hour we went to enjoy the the blue expanse of majestic waterfall. Studded with beautiful view of various kinds of plants and big rocks; the blue tint of the waterfall is very alluring. I thank the Universe to allow me possess that freaking amazing energy for that moment; for blessing me to witness this breathtaking beauty.
