Well I'll start by saying, since I'm from South India, the first thing that crosses our mind when we hear the word Mumbai is all the negativity, but ever since I moved to South Mumbai, my perspective towards the city changed completely. The best part of my visit is the walk on the marine drive with earphones on listening to some pleasant music. It is one of the best part of Mumbai. This walk went so perfectly. Unplanned, no time restrictions, nothing.

I started my walk from Girgoan chowpatty ( charni road) continued through the marine drive, passed through the Taraporewala  and when I reached near the pizza by the bay, I decided to visit the Gateway of India, which was on the other side, i.e. Colaba.

Well gateway is calm in the evening, you can listen to waves making its own unique sound. These are my  favorite sites to visit in order to get away from the disturbance the word.

See for Yourself, is the only suggestion I could give to you. UNESCO World Heritage Site. But contains the Railway museum inside. Formally known as Victoria Terminus (VT). Busy 365 of the Days of the Year. Stand before this Magnificent Structure and you'll fall in love with it. Come during Night., The light Shows are awesome. Let it be the different Festive seasons in Mumbai so'll be the Light Show of This Magnificent structure. Next to it is the BMC headquarters., even this is a beautiful structure. Note: Lights are switched off after 9 PM

Standing at the Hutatma Chowk (Martyr's Square), next to statue of a "Martyr with a Flame" at a Square in South Mumbai. Formally intended for the Victoria Gardens. Stands tall to the opposite the Bombay High Court. Complete white structure. Statue of A lady stands on the top of the fountain. More often they don't start the water, but its still beautiful. Just gorgeous....see for yourself if your in South Mumbai. Bright White Lights are used to Create a stunning view of the fountain.

Built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai, Stands right Next to the Taj Mahal. Both the structure are the coolest. Even this magnificent structures light display changes from time to time. And if you visit it during monsoon., you'll get drenched.
