Day 1

Usually Manali is an all year round destination and the most recommended time of the year is March - June. But if you are looking for winter fun then January is the ideal month to visit. We reached Manali a day prior from Chandigarh by hiring a cab. Next day we explored the local sightseeing begining with Hidimba Temple , Tibetan monastery and mall road.

Day 2

Our second day was explored on foot towards Old Manali. Old Manali has contrasting side to New Manali. Old Manali has more of Cultural touch of Manali. Highly recommended to explore on foot.

Day 3

Third day was dedicated to Solang Valley and nearby areas. During winters Rohtang valley is usually closed due to heavy snow fall. The activities carried out at Solang Valley are somewhat expensive. Paragliding is recommended.
