This is one of the most promising, romentic hill station in himalyan region ( Uttrakhand )

So whole hill station is near by a big lake called naini lake. It looks beautiful in every season.

How to reach ----
This hill station is connected with all part of India. Through air , roads , railway etc.
Through air...... Nearest airport is pant nagar
Roads... From delhi you can take NH 24 to reach here it's around 6 hour drive from delhi. Road condition is pretty well.
Railway...... Nearest railway station is kathgodam . Which is around 30 to 40 kilometre from nanital . Kathgodam is well connected with delhi, lucknow & other cities.
From delhi you can take an overnight train to reach here till kathgodam then you can get buses & cabs to reach nainital.
So like most hill stations nanital has its mall roads. It's so beautiful here at mall roads. You can take a walk through it. One side it's lake and other side is local market shops, hotel, restaurant etc.
So this lake is the life line of nanital. This is enough big lake you can take a boat ride in the lake. It can be a lifetime experience boating in naine lake. It's so beautiful, serene, & Devine here at this lake. Boating is must here.
Here at this hill station you can see India, s one of high altitude zoo. It's the highlight here. From the mall road there a cable car or gondola ride you can take to reach at this zoo. If kids with you. Then they would love to visit this zoo. Many rare himalyan breeds you can see here.
If you live treak then you can go to naini peak.
Some local guide can help you in this after reaching at certain height you can see whole nanital. In winters you can see snow fall here in every season.
This beautiful & blessed place around 15 to 20 kilometer from nanital. This ashram belongs to neem karoli baba. The founder of apple company Steve Jobs & founder of Facebook mark Zuckerberg once came here they got blessing here. So many people come here at this ashram to get blessings.
This place also close to nanital. There are so many lake near by nanital. So another popular lake is Naukuchia taal. This is less crowded place compare to nainital. You can do boating paragliding , water zorbing etc.
Another popular lake here it's khurpatal . It look like a khur ( foot of goat ) from a certain height you see how it's got it's name. Why people call this Khurpatal. This lake looks like a got, s feet so much greener area around this lake.

When you are planning to come here in nanital.
At the end side of this lake there a big temple of goddess naina devi. Tourist love to go there for sure to get blessings. Local beliefs that this goddess naina devi is the care taker of this hill station. So once you are in nainital you should visit here at this temple. Through mall road you can easily reach here.
