Today we went to the last destination of the trip
Anantya Resort.
Road from kanyakumari to resort was very scenic.
Before arriving at resort , we saw a big water source only to realise later that resort was on the shore of that lake.
We arrived at around 12 pm and had a smooth check in.
First impression of the resort was impeccable.
Lush green, beautifully manicured and calmness.
And that impression kept on becoming better and better during our stay.
Room was very big and had a small fence around with a small lily pond, seating area, walking area. As we had the Veda villa, so we had an outdoor Jacuzzi area as well.
Room was very big and has a very big bath area.
Bed was well made and a custom chocolate gift on it.
We took an all inclusive package.
Just after check-in and moving around the villa, we went for lunch.
Lunch was very nice and chef special desserts were cherry on the cake.
After lunch we came to room and took some rest.
In evening we roamed around the property using the in-house bicycles.
Then came the best part of the stay, specially arranged dinner by wife at pool side hut. Staffs poured there heart in creating the perfect arrangements.
After a very happy and satisfying dinner we retired for the night.
We woke early to go for a rubber plantation tour.
It was very educational and manager for the plant took us on a very detailed and educational tour of rubber production.
We also had a photo session during tour in the nest hanging on the cliff .
After the tour we had our breakfast.
We checked out around 12 pm.
We drove for almost 12 hours( 700kms) with 2 major stops and reached Bangalore by midnight.
Road conditions were excellent.
It was indeed a memorable trip.
