It's been a whole year since we planned a trip together. Finally, after a long time of not talking and going through tough times, we decided to visit Sagra. The bus journey was nice; I couldn't sleep because I was happy just watching her. We reached Sagra in the morning, got to our simple hotel (The Krishna residency)and had a surprisingly good breakfast at Mysore Cafe. After freshening up, we booked a local cab. The driver was friendly, and our first stop was Sigandur
we have to reach the temple through a launch. We had been, we get into a launch. It was a nice journey in the launch. In that launch, we can see a lot of people. It's crowded due to Christmas and truck, buses, jeep, everything was filled in that launch. We have to go through the Saravathi river. Then we had traveled in the launch and it was nice. after we reached our destination in that launch, it's a 15-minute journey. Then again, we have to get into a jeep to reach to the temple. And it was throughout a new experience, a new journey, seeing a lot of people and crowded in the jeep. And it was fun. And we reached the temple and the temple was overcrowded due to Christmas. What we did, we went and took a special ticket and it costed us 400 bucks. We, after taking the ticket, we directly went inside the temple. It was so easy route for us to reach to the temple. We took a darshana. It was so nice. The ease of access made the experience quite pleasant.
After visiting to temple, we are so hungry we could not control the anger. But the good hotel or the next stop was going to a temple where we will get a good free food. So we'd been there, I was waiting, it was overcrowded there, but still I was very hungry, I could not control my anger. We had one community food system where to enter there I need to wear a dhoti. So I went there, I purchased the dhoti and came, again they said 20 to 30 minutes we need to wait. Then we went to a general lunch, I mean dining, and we had a very nice lunch, it was so tasty. After having the lunch, they were serving coffee, they were serving kashaya, fruits and juice. I was overwhelmed with seeing a lot of things they were distributing it. So it was so nice.
After our meal, the sun was scorching, making us sweaty and uncomfortable. Undeterred, we moved to our third destination: Jogfalls. Initially, we explored a restricted area to get a better view. My enthusiasm outweighed her reluctance, and I convinced her to join me, promising a stunning sight. And indeed, the view of the 750-foot falls from the backside was breathtaking. We captured a wonderful picture together, cherishing the moment.
Moving to the main entrance afterward wasn't as thrilling as the backside exploration. But the highlight was an activity near Jogfalls—a thrilling zipline. She faced her fear for my sake, joining me in the experience, making it the best part of the day.
We ended up getting wet during the activity and shivered on our 40-minute journey back to the hotel. Initially worried about no hot water, luck was on our side—the tap yielded hot water, bringing relief and allowing us to freshen up.
Having dosa at the same hotel where we had breakfast, we prepared to return to Bangalore. Fortunately, luck stayed with us, and we found a brand new KSRTC bus for our journey back. Despite not sleeping during the night journey, reaching Bangalore brought a sense of happiness and relief to be back home.
