The moment we crossed the India border and entered Bhutan we could a different vibe here, a less chaotic , peaceful, happy one.
On the entire route to Thimphu, the capital city, we could see beautiful landscapes of mountains!

Next day involved exploring the city of Thimphu and it's major attractions.
Most exciting part was the witnessing the biggest cultural festival "Thimphu Tsechu".
Saw every color together that I could ever possibly see !

Heading towards the next destination of the trip which was Paro. *read the cutest city*
This place mesmerized me the moment I entered it.
Situated in a valley , surrounded by gigantic mountains , with a small crystal clear river flowing through it.
Couldn't have asked for anything else!
The highlight of the trip - Taktsang Monastery Trek
The length of the trek is around 5 miles (two way) with an starting elevation of 8525 feet and maximum elevation of 10,232 feet.
Never have I ever trekked this long before so it was a little exhausting yet a fun one.
The beauty of the place only encouraged me to complete it and trust me it was totally worth!

Lastly the cozy little ???? we lived in.
We booked this place from Airbnb .
It had a perfect ambience ,see for yourself !
