With the weekend vibes taking a toll on us, feeling of wanderlust inching us to the extreme we decided to go at least a drive to relieve us from work pressure.
We are placed in coimbatore,checked the weather forecast and decided to head to valparai from coimbatore.
We started early 6am headed for a 120km drive to the heaven of hills valparai.
The route we opted was Coimbatore-Pollachi-Aaliyar,and valaparai doesmt have much to offer but it's the journey than makes more memorable than the destination.
Once we cross Aaliyar, the hills start off with 40 hair pin bends that gives a serious test to our driving skills.
Please make sure your journey is pleasant to enjoy the views. We were lucky as a gentle breeze made the weather even more serene.
Places you can cover are Balaji temple and sholayar dam.
On the way, you can shower your tastebuds with the essence of one the best quality tea and to accompany that something spicy like vadai,bajji etc.
Also you can watch for some fresh carrots.
Once you reach the top, make sure live the moment at least for 1-2 hrs.
It's a days affair and you can finish off all the places if u start from coimbatore.

Even though ,we went in for ride via car.
I strongly prefer bike as the best mode of travel to enjoy the journey to the core😍
