Day 1

A day trip with lots of new experience. So Morning me and my BFF left from Mandya to Adi yogi via Coimbatore Tamil Nadu, fuel tank full and we were on a roll towards our destination. Taking the assistant of Google maps we took an express Highway were we accelerated at 100kmph which helped us to cover a lot of time we had lost as we gt up late. Once we completed highway road we got on to single road which passed through a thick forest which was in its best condition and we were fortunate enough as there was no traffic on a road and as we were heading towards our destination, finally we reached at the one of the spot of our journey the satyamangalam ghat the ghat with 27hairpin bend we stopped at a point to take a break and enjoy the view which was unbelievable due to less traffic it took us about 25mins to get down the ghat and we were on a state highway which is in down condition KINDLY TAKE ASSISTANCE FROM GOOGLE MAPS AS MAJORITY OF THE MILESTONES AND ROAD DIRECTIONS ARE IN TAMIL. Finally, we had reached Coimbatore but our destination was still 35km far and we had to travel through city roads and then narrow inner and finally we reached the destination and witnessed the amazing Adi yogi statue after seeing the statue we visited the temple and the entrance of the temple is amazing, we have to keep our phones at the checkpoint as phones are not allowed inside the temple as we entered we wanted to take a dip in a pond where 3 shiv linga is there we have to remove our clothes and be in the towel provided by the temple authority take shower before entering the pond, Kindly Read the Instructions Before entering the pond. After taking the darshan of Linga in the huge pond we visited the dyanlingam where we can see people from all parts of the world are so engrossed in meditating and there is pin-drop silence and the attractive part is 12-15ft tall shiv ling where we can do Abhishek ( to pour water on linga) on a huge shiva linga. The premises are very well maintained and it's so clean. The journey was worth each penny and took back lots of memories while going back. From Mandya, it took us around 5 hours to reach n 5 hours to come back
