We bored... We were working for our final major project since last three days. Suddenly my best friend Aayushi closed her laptop and said I hate this! Can't we just stop this stupid work and go somewhere, where the mobile signals are so weak so no one can reach us. I replied it's 9 p.m. we can go for a dinner, and she replied no, you idiot! somewhere in the mountains, I closed my laptop too and said OK let's go somewhere. Let the search mode on, this is not good, not good, not good, yes look at that, this seems cool. It's Triund.! We search some places and decide to go on a trek to Triund, but wait for a second it's already 9:30 pm now and last bus to Pathankot is at 11:30, we need to made it quick. So we packed our bags whatever we found in what's condition we just through it in and rushed to Jalandhar bus stand. Bravo! we reached in time and at 11:00 p.m. we got a HRTC bus leaving towards Pathankot. We reached at Pathankot at 1:30 a.m. From there we walked till Pathankot railway station which is in just walking distance just 1 kilometer away from Pathankot bus stand. We buy tickets to Kangra station In Himachal. The first toy train from Pathankot is at 02:15 am. We choose toy train instead of HRTC bus journey which may take less time because, I do believe traveling is not only about reaching the destination, the journey itself matters a lot. Everyone must experience a toy train ride once in a while and enjoy the journey through the beautiful Kangra valley and mountains of Dhauladhar ranges.

We reached Kangra station at 6 a.m. in the morning and we welcomed by beautiful morning sunshine .If you travelling to Kangra by toy train you must try Chai and Pakora ( Tea & fritter) at Kangra station. There is only one tea stall so you don't have a choice. Its middle of December and chilling cold in Kangra, so whatever you get hot and fresh that's good enough. Tea was OK but the pakora's are hot and so delicious. After having breakfast we hire an auto to the Kangra bus stand, Than we take a HRTC bus to Mcleodganj which takes 90 min. almost to reach Mcleodganj. We reached Mcleodganj our first stop at 9 a.m. sharp. As we are really so hungry as we didn't eaten much since our journey started. The first thing we do is search a nice place to eat, so we go to the famous restaurant Jimmy's Italian café and eat till we can.

Once someone told me you're never too old for hot chocolate, and this cute little girl proved this. but I frequently ask her same question over and over again. When will you grow up? Well I think may be never because she is Hot Chocolate girl.

Breakfast done. Energy level 200%. Now time to move forward. We started our trek from Dharamkot, but if you are a little lazy you can also hire a taxi till Reagge Café which cost you about 400 rupees. But if you love to explore new things it's good to walk on the streets only then you could discover the hidden beauty of any place.

Friends of no reason

We'll continued our walk till two hours. And I think that was a the right decision we made. The path we chose was full of lush green Pine trees and scenic beauty of Dhauladhar ranges. There is a small tea stall before the Reagge café you must stop there a try masala tea and noodles only for 100 rupees, which is value for money and also fuel some amount of energy in your body as walking in hilly roads is not easy and a fatiguing task. If you request them they can also burn fire for you on the edge of the cliff, from there you can enjoy your meal and scenic beauty of Dhauladhar. You can rest there for sometime, but don't stay there for too long because your real trek start from Reagge café from there it will take 4-6 hours to reach Triund.

After about two hours of our trekking, we finally saw the mountain top. And the first thing comes up in our mind "just imagine the view when we reach there" but reaching there was also not an easy task. Once a wise man said "The most beautiful view comes after the hardest climb" Every mountain top is within our reach if you had stomach for it. Keep Moving forward, and every mountain bend his knees in-front of you. All you need to do is keep moving forward. That's became our motivational song whenever we got tired and started thinking we can't do this, we start singing "Keep Moving Forward" and that's really works.

Finally we reached Triund after a trek of 7 long hours and we just fell on the ground and yes we did it with no such plans no such preparations just me and her. But that's the magic of true friendship you could do things you cant even imagine. But its not end yet we have a freeze cold night a head we buy a tent burn fire just enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Once a wise man said, "You cannot buy happiness, but you can buy a tent and on camping, and that's pretty close" and that's true there nothing can replace that feeling in your heart.

We ate our food the choices were not too much, food was better than we expected it seems to me that we are quite lucky to have this much delicious food at the elevation of almost 3000 meters. There are some dhabhas (food Joints) cooks awesome Rajma-Chawal or Dal-Chawal, ya you have not too many choices or you can eat bread ohm-let or noodles. Night at Triund top is a different experience, there were so many tourist basically college students so you can easily merge with the crowd and might be ended up making some of the best of friends of your life.

It's time to leave, it's hard to say we don't want to leave but we don't have time. But it was a beautiful experience. We all must have to try this, Stop working, make a sudden plan and go for it with your best friend and let the things happen, Because something money can't buy, only memories will do.
