Travel alone and the world will embrace you.@Kinnaur

It became more interesting when I was left alone to travel. Earlier, the plan was to go to Dharamsala but when I read about Kinnaur I caught the bus to Reckong Peo. To be honest, I was advised not to go alone and wait for the right time when some kind of companion will be available, but I preferred not to wait and neither did I inform my family about where I was going for the next 8-10 days. Natural destinations like mountains, rivers and remote places have always fascinated me and thanks to some Hollywood movies that encouraged me to become a Lone-traveler.

Kinnaur is said to be the least explored region in Himachal and this information was enough to arouse my curiosity. I spent three days wandering alone from one place to another and then at Roghi village, near Kalpa, I met some wonderful people from Brazil and Israel who became my family for the rest of my trip. I was also told before the trip by a friend that the people of Kinnaur are uncivilised and they don't like any kind of interference in their lives, but this was the falsest thing I have ever witnessed, for me they are perhaps one of the most wonderful communities at least in India, if not the world. I met the cutest children and so beautiful and friendly people wherever I went. I am a book lover and now a traveler also and the one thing that I have learned so far in my life is- Read and travel, learn and experience as much as you can, you won't get another life.
