Interstellar wouldn't have been half the movie it was without those stunning visuals. Remember the two destinations which were chosen to represent the two extraterrestrial planets: one covered in ice, and the other covered in water. They looked surreal, didn't they? But they weren't.

Those locations are real and not computer generated.

The director, Christopher Nolan, handpicked them. The filming took place in Iceland. A two-week shoot was scheduled, and a crew of approximately 350 people, including 130 locals, worked on it. Wouldn't they be worth travelling to? Here are some stunning pictures to relive your Interstellar fantasy.
