Pondicherry – Auroville :
A Small town in Tamil Nadu which feels like this little cute town was born only for people to come and just chill
What not Pondi offers everything Food, Beach, Music Vibes and Girls vice Versa It’s a paradise for Backpackers
The town has a lot to offer if you go with friends or SOLO.
This time I went with my friend's #SASTECRIMINALS ft Sunanda, Naren & Pavan
How to reach?
From Bangalore you will have a train every Tuesday, Friday you can book early or try Tatkal if it's not Festival time its most cheap and reliable option
If not you can go to Chennai and take a bus from Chennai Egmore station
If not you can take direct bus from Bglr.
The train is the most reliable and cheapest option bus cost you around 600 bucks whereas Train costs around 350 bucks
Best time to visit?
Since it was a coastal town its will be modest temp every time. But for me Pondy was so refreshing because I get to soak in Sunlight after so many days because I stay in Bangalore where it's so difficult to catch sunlight in Wintertime
What to see?
Pondi/Auroville has a lot to offer if you are up for trying Different foods, Experiencing French Style of monuments, Making new Friends ,Try Surfing, Drenching in Ocean
Just sit and chill while you see time passes like a Flow
So its time to dive into our Experience with Pondi……..
So initially I planned for a Solo Trip because it's been so long since I went solo. I just shared this with my friend out of blue he said he will come to this trip. So I said yes lets rock. I am taking suggestions for visiting Pondy from his GF who earlier visited Pondy After few hours I got a message from His GF that I am also coming that’s how this solo Trip converted into group trip with a guy I love most in my friend circle and girl he loves
Day 0 :
Its was around 6:00 clock I am waiting in my office to just pack my bags and leave for Pondi. This was the first time My Boss gave me permission without asking any Questions Surprised me goes to a room packed my bag and Left for Shanti Nagar bus stand and Finally at 10:00 clock the journey started towards PONDICHERRY
DAY 1 :
We landed in Pondicherry at around 6:00 clock. Pondi is good to visit if you have a bike in your hand So rent a bike the moment you land in pondi
PROTIP: Never give more than 300 act like you don’t want to be normal if you are more enthusiastic they will play you how much he may say keep your slab 300 max 350. This works only for Scooty/Activa/Vespa/TVS XL 100
So we took two Vespas which cost 1400 for two days each bike costing 350/day.We made our way towards the Railway station to pick our Friend who was a last addition to the plan From there we made our way towards our Hostel “Woodpeckers Backpackers Hostel” You can get a hostel for around 350 Rs for one night Our hostel costed around 350 per night since the Checking time is 11:00 clock we dropped our bags over there and went to Serenity Beach to play in ocean
We went gaga over there drenched in Beach for straight of 2 Hours after that we had breakfast over there by the Roadside and went to Hostel to take a bath and Freshen up
Then we had this Veg meals at Sustenance Farm & Cafe and I swear this was the best Vegetable meals ever I had in my life They all grow the Vegetables by themselves and in a Organic way
After that we went to Sound garden where we played the instruments like we are SIvamani followed by we went to have Pizza at PLANET PIZZA
Followed by we went to Rock beach where my friends boozed over there at a Roof top Bar & Restaurant
DAY 2:
I woke up at morning 5:30 am and went on an aimless Ride because Aimless Rides are the best you just know what was in the Stores and had a cup of Coffee actually 2 cups then came back and woke my friends up.Then we went to the------- beach and played Frisbee racing with Tides of Ocean up to 2 hrs.Then we had our breakfast at RICHIE RICH a local cafe and went back to the hostel to check out.
Followed by a lunch at Banana Leaf followed by we went to Rockbeach to spend last moments at beach then I separated from my group to have some alone time went to the beach sat over there for 40 minutes while my playlist is doing its work Followed we went to BAKER STREET followed by Dinner at Surguru
Then we bid bye to Pondicherry and boarded the bus for Bangalore Pondicherry was a place where you can just chill with Food and cafes leaving all the tensions in our busy life seems like this town was born for it
"Au revoir jusqu'à la prochaine fois ma nouvelle petite amie française" which literally translates to "Goodbye until next time my new french girlfriend"
