Happy New Year friends! It's almost 6am in the morning and I am here with my friend to drop my fiancee.
Last night my friend called me and asked me to keep some warm clothes as we have to go for some hill station for quick trip and I was thinking.....we'll go to Himachal or may be Mussoorrie.
Oh God.....just now we started our journey.....but what...my Friend asked me to search Munsiyari rout in Google map......OMG m totally shocked.........it's really too far from Delhi....we can't reach in one stretch....we have to take a hold somewhere.................!
I am still making up my mind........looking at the distance again and again in Google map..... finally I have decided to go ahead!
We stopped Shiva Dhaba for breakfast which is approximately 90 km from Delhi...... journey continues..........
It's almost 1pm we are approximately 30km ahead from Nainital towards Almora......we stopped again for lunch....
Menu: Dal fry, Mix veg, chicken and rice
Cost:........?
Only 140 rs/ only for two people.....we are amazed.
Now we are heading towards the Almora........Berinag......Choukori....Thal...... finally..........
It's almost 9:30 we have crossed Thal......... everything is dark and closed as people in Pahad sleeps early at night.
We are heading upward now......it was really tough.....we stuck at one place....oh God finally we came out of situation again heading upward.
Munsiyari is almost 8Km away........wow wow started snow fall...we have to reach as quick as possible.....we have to find the hotel as well.
It's 11pm finally we found one hotel: Hotel MJ inn......Hotel people are not believing us that we reached in one stretch from Delhi.....they are asking where did you stop in between......
Next day 2nd Jan: Munsiyari local site visit
3rd Jan: Back to some other place...not sure where????
Just now we woke up........it's 6am in the morning..........OMG......we are soooooooo luck........all the places....hills...hotel.... covered with snow....and it's still falling....wow
It's 8am we are having breakfast.....now plan is to go for Nanda Devi temple but...still snow fall.................11am snowfall stopped....Now we are heading towards temple.
We enjoyed a lot and tomorrow we are planning to go to Ranikhet.
It's almost 8am Road is closed from where we came......we need to take another rout which is 70 km longer......we are going to Ranikhet........we stopped at one place where some Road construction is going on.......
Plan changed..........🙄🙄🙄🙄
We met one couple they were talking about Kausani near Almora we have decided to visit there.........!
Enroute....we met same couple again they changed their mind and said they are going to Patal Bhuwaneswar near Pithoragarh.....we also decided to go there......there is very old cave temple........!
It's almost 8pm we have reached Patal Bhuwaneswar...taken hotel room!
Next morning: cave visit and back to Delhi.
It's morning 8am we had breakfast.....
Breakfast was fantastic and (9.5/10)......9:30am cave will open for visitors......!
It's 9:45 and I am inside the cave which almost 90 feet beneath the ground.....wow it's really amazing and historical!
It's 10:30 am we are ready to go back to Delhi.
We are almost close to Almora and it's 4pm....we are discussing we should go back to Delhi or take a halt somewhere.....after long discussion we have decided to go............Ranikhet and take halt there🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's 5:30pm we are searching hotel in Ranikhet.....finally we found.....we are keeping our bags in hotel and going to visit famous temple of Baba Haida Khan🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's 9:30 pm dinner is over.......going to bed!
Next morning: back to Delhi
It's morning 7am we are going to visit apple Garden......we found nothing there.....it's time to go back....!
We are slowly heading towards Delhi....!
9pm Hurrah.....we are at Delhi!
Now we are at our residence: Isle de Royale Residency Gwal Pahari Gurgaon
