Hey Guyss, I am a solo traveler who loves to travel each month exploring different cities, cultures, food, heritage and meet new people. So, i thought why not share the details of the places to visit each month, this shall help other travelers to plan up. So here is a backpacker budget trip squeezing in time with 9-5 job in Bangalore. December month trips rolling below,

1)UDAIPUR, Rajasthan

Udaipur also known as “City of Lakes” is famous for its lavish royal palaces, lakes, monuments, temples founded by Rana Udai Singh. December is the ideal time to visit this place as the temperature is pleasant and cool at night. Being a tourist spot, one can find many hostels, cafés, restaurants, shopping markets along the streets & river bank side at affordable prices.

Perfect for: Solo traveler, Family, Friends

•Lake Pichola

•Saheliyon ki Bari

2)CHITTORGARH, Rajasthan

Chittorgarh also known as Chittor is famous tourist place for its “Chittor fort” (a world heritage site) which depicts the history. It has stambhs (towers), temples, Padmini Palace, gardens, reservoir. It is a half day tour around the fort. People stay inside the fort hence shopping centers are available where famous handicrafts, clothings are displayed.

3)SAPUTARA, GUJARAT

Saputara is a small Hill Station in Western ghats famous for Gardens, lake, viewpoints. The best part of this place is the sunrise and sunset viewpoints. It’s very cold in December and perfect getaway, buses run to and fro from Baroda to this place.

Perfect for: Friends, Couples.

4)JAISALMER, Rajasthan

Jaisalmer is known as “Golden City” for its yellow sandstone architecture and golden color sand dunes. The main attraction of this place is its Sam sand dunes and Jaisalmer fort which is huge and it is a residential fort, it’s a half day tour to visit the fort. Other attractions are haveli’s, lake, camels, temples and architecture which can be covered by walk. Majorly attracted by tourists, Jaisalmer houses many hostels, shopping shops, cafés and restaurants

5)Pondicherry,India

Pondicherry or Puducherry is a Union territory and famously known for French Colony. Quiet beaches stretch from town, good for swimming and sunrise strolls. Many cafés are all around the beaches. The French colony have mustard-yellow colonial structures with bougainvillaea laden walls with cosy cafés and cuisines.

6)Wayanad, Kerala

Wayanad is situated in Kerala and famous for its spice plantations and wildlife. Named as “Nature’s Abode” is a perfect weekend getaway place for all nature lovers and friends. Drive through Bandipur forest to reach here and enjoy the breathtaking views. Each tourist spot is far away from each other hence having own vehicle/transport is mandatory.
