After a long browsing and planning, I concluded my road map to travel. Plan is Bangalore -> Hosppet -> Hampi -> Hubli -> Badami -> Pattadakal -> Aihole -> Hubli -> Bangallore.
When am gathering information to fix route map, I didn’t get any proper info regarding the buses and local information like bicycle & bike rentals, auto rickshaw and taxi, so here am writing regarding the local travel phases. We can get lot of information about particular monument on wiki.
Day 1
HAMPI
If we start trip so early single day is enough to travel in hampi and in island. From few months in hampi social activities are banned like bike rentals, but we can hire bicycle (rs 100 per day) to roam on hampi streets. When we travelled we started bit late around 10.30am, so we didn’t have enough time so we roam only in hampi. To travel on both hampi and island we have to start early. On island side we can hire bike which cost Rs 200/- for moped and Rs 300/- for scooty Bicycle Rs 100/-.
We can get the map from local shop which cost Rs 5/- which is more helpful to travel the hampi monuments in order.
:- from hospet railway station there is local bus service for every 30 min. Locker facility available in both bus stand and railway station.
From hapi to badami no bus services available, so we travelled to hubli and from there we hired taxi. Due to lack of informaton we hired taxi, actually there is bus service from hubli to badami. Badami caves and monuments are walkable distance form bustand.
Order to visit tourist places is Badami cave 1 -> cave 2 -> cave 3 -> cave 4 -> Museum-> side by museum an Arched passage (have to trek) to badami most splendid view of badami town and badami hill beauty and also lower and higher shiva temples -> bhoothnath temple.
PATTADKAL
From badami to pattadakal there is bus service which flew every one hour. One hour is enough to see Pattadkal temple monuments, papanath temple.Which is in a single compound.
AIHOLE
Few km drive from pattadkal, Like pattadkal here also most of the temples in a single compound and few small ruined temples are in between local streets, another temple Meguti Jain Temple just benind the temple complex there we can see this temple on top of the hill. Meguti jain temple have plain surface on top of the hill from here we can have a look of Aihole complete village view and behind the temple right corner of the compound we can view the sun light reflects on the water pond light view point.
*From badami we can hire auto to pattadkal and aihole which cost Rs 200 – 250 per person, this is the best way to travel all three placeses in single day.
