According to sources, Kerala Tourism is going all out to get back in shape and is currently aiming for a growth of 10 to 12 per cent in the number of incoming tourists as well as in earnings ever since the state has recovered from facing one of the worst floods seen by the country in 2018.
If the latest reports are to be believed, accessible ramps, wheelchairs, folding walkers, walking sticks, crutches, tactile walkways, special signboards, touchscreen kiosks, audio guides, and Braille brochures are some of the other facilities that will be available in these places. The idea is to break any barriers that might hamper anyone from having a good time due to lack of basic services. More actions may soon be taken in this direction to promote a healthy rise in the tourism sector for the state.
